BSCM Interactive Learning – Webinar Mode

The Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) module is the first of five modules leading to APICS CPIM certification. It provides fundamental knowledge about managing the complete flow of materials in the supply chain from the supplier to the customer.

Advance has designed the Webinar BSCM Interactive Learning mode to meet the needs of candidates who for personal or professional reasons cannot attend the classroom lessons of in-house company courses.

The course is a webinar in the live mode with direct interaction between the course trainer and the participants.

The lessons are recorded so that participants can listen to them later.

Participants can combine private study with six one-and-a-half hour sessions of group conference call sessions led by a certified instructor. The conference call sessions are held every two to three weeks.

The course finishes with a discussion of the results of a simulated exam. At the end of the course participants will take the final BSCM exam with APICS who will issue a certificate to those successfully completing the exam.

The BASICS tutorial program is an ideal tool for augmenting business knowledge and for creating a shared knowledge base for personnel in a production facility.

Course objectives:

  • – To provide basic knowledge about managing the complete flow of materials in the supply chain from the supplier to the customer.
  • – To introduce and explain in detail the professional terminology used in the Production & Inventory Management area.

  • – An individual private study stage with the distance support of instructors.
